They don’t feel seen, they don’t know where they’re going, and they think the answer is to blow everything up and start over. New job, new career, whatever. But what I’ve learned from my own journey through corporate and marketing is that wherever you go, there you are.

So what I do is work with people to help them see what’s actually going on inside. How are they showing up? What beliefs are running the show? Because it’s always about ten layers deeper than what people think. And once we start looking, something changes. They start seeing possibilities instead of problems. They get this feeling of agency back.

Nobody’s been asking them these questions. They think they already know the answer, so they don’t look any deeper. But when you sit with someone and actually go there, something opens up. And it compounds. That’s what I’m here for: helping people lighten up and realize they have more control over their experience than they thought.

Focusing internally is what leads to true happiness. Most people believe that if they’re unhappy at work, they need to escape. Change jobs, change careers, change everything. That’s reasonable because we are measured by outside actions and it feels tangible.

But what I’ve seen is that people carry the same patterns everywhere they go. Pressing eject on a new company, role, city, country will be new and shiny until you notice those patterns again. Better use what you have.

Start with peace and experimenting where you are. Take small steps. When you do, you gain agency. You see possibilities instead of problems. Whether you stay or leave becomes a choice, not a reaction.

“I started my coaching with Jen lacking some career direction, and some confidence and motivation, but after six sessions all those things are in a much better place. Jen’s encouragement, patience and focused questioning, have given me the space to reflect on what I want to work towards, and helped me develop the tools to build my confidence self-sufficiently”
